A legacy to the Army Benevolent Fund can improve someone's quality of life; can give hope to a damaged life, it can even save a life. Making a Will doesn't have to be difficult and can help reduce the burden on your family when you die.
Anyone over 18 can write a Will and providing the Will is valid, it allows your money, property and possessions to be distributed according to your wishes, thus ensuring that your assets are managed properly, and by the people you appoint to do so. If your Will is out of date, or badly worded, it could prove to be very costly and traumatic for your loved ones to sort out, at what will already be a difficult time for them. It is important to have your Will properly drawn up and kept up to date. Make life easier for your family and friends: make a Will and let them know the arrangements for your funeral.
A Will ensures that your intentions are honoured after your lifetime. It can help you to protect the people closest to you, and further the causes you care about.
To make a Will, you may wish to use a solicitor. Although we do not recommend any specific solicitors, we can help you to find one in your area, registered with the Law Society.

A memorial gift in lieu of flowers is a very special way to remember a loved one, helping give health and life to those who remain. If you would like to donate to the Fund in memory of your loved one, you may donate online.
Alternatively your loved ones may wish to purchase the Army Benevolent Fund Rose, thus remembering you with something living and beautiful. It is available for delivery from the beginning of November through to the end of March each year. If you would like to purchase the rose, please contact Fay Ponikowski on 0845 241 4828.

The ABF can establish a permanent tribute Rose Fund to enable you to cherish the memory of someone special to you. For further information please contact Fay Ponikowski on 0845 241 4828.
