on Fire! in true 007 style

MUSIC ON FIRE!, the UK's most stunning outdoor spectacular, returns in 2008 with a new production of live popular and classical music, a thrilling continuous firework display and a magical Son et Lumiere, set against the spectacular backdrop of the Old College at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Acclaimed classical singer Hayley Westenra joins other stars from the world of popular and classical music to perform alongside a 100-piece military orchestra and 100-voice choir.

James Bond theme

Music on Fire! celebrates the centenary of former Sandhurst Officer Cadet Ian Fleming, author of the world famous James Bond novels. To mark this occasion Music on Fire! will take on a distinctive Bond theme. It will also celebrate the centenary of the Territorial Army.

Well-known voices

The show will be narrated by the well known voices of stars from the stage and screen including Rowan Atkinson, Joanna Lumley, Prunella Scales, Timothy West, Peter Bowles, Hannah Gordon, Edward Woodward and Sir Trevor McDonald. Daredevil Army units, The Red Devils and The Black Knights will make a breathtaking night-time parachute drop during the show.

Music on Fire! is produced by Major Sir Michael Parker, one of the worlds leading outdoor event specialists who was responsible for producing the Queen's Golden and Silver Jubilee celebrations, outside Buckingham Palace, and the Queen Mother's 100 Birthday Tribute.

Guests are invited to picnic on the lawn in front of the Old College as they enjoy the show. All proceeds of the event will go to the ABF's new fund for veterans of current operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
