The Basingstoke Bison cruised to 6-1 victory over their visiting local rivals the Bracknell Bees in a special game for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity as part of our Value for Valour initiative.

Army Recovery Capability Announced

We are committed to embedding a Grants Officer within HQ Land forces to advise and deliver individual benevolence quickly and effectively.

Armed Forces Compensation Scheme Review

The review of the Armed Forces Compensation scheme (AFCS ) was today announced.
The review was conducted under the independent Chairmanship of former Chief of the Defence Staff, Admiral the Lord Boyce. Lord Boyce was supported by a group of independent experts, including senior representatives of: ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, the Royal British Legion, the Confederation of British Service and ex-Service Organisations, as well as medical, legal and academic experts, and an injured soldier who has put in a claim for AFCS compensation.

Coldstream Guards on the Move

A hundred soldiers from Number Seven Company, Coldstream Guards today marched into London after a gruelling 425-mile march over 25 days. Much of it through heavy snow.
Congratulations to all involved for this fantastic effort- they have already raised a massive £10,259.29
